New Horizons Band
Performances
New Horizons Band has several regularly scheduled concerts, December at the Iowa City Senior Center and at the Englert with the Iowa CIty Community Band, May in Voxman, late June (in a city park with the Iowa City Communit Band) and late July. The small groups hold recitals twice a year, in December and May at the Senior Center. In addition, the band is sometimes asked to perform for various other events.

Fall rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 10:30 am
in the Iowa City Senior Center Assembly Room.

First -- Tuesday, September 2
Day off -- Tuesday, November 4 (Election Day)
Day off -- Tuesday, November 11 (ICSC closed)
Last -- Tuesday, December 9
Extra Rehearsals (?) until December 18
Concerts:
Tuesday, November 11 -- 7 pm at Voxman (Veteran's Day Concert)
Thursday, December 4 -- 2 pm at ICSC (Assembly Room) -- Ensembles
Tuesday, December 9 -- 2 pm at ICSC (Assembly Room) -- Full Band
Sunday, December 21 -- 2 pm at the Englert with Iowa City Community Band at 3
Spring 2026
Spring rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 10:30 am
in the Iowa City Senior Center Assembly Room.
Rehearsals begin January 20, 2026 and end in early May.
Special Concert -- Thursday, April 23 -- 7 pm at Oaknoll
Summer 2026
Summer rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 10:30 am
in the Iowa City Senior Center Assembly Room. Summer session runs from late May/early June to late July

Monday Night Band --
Rehearsals are each Monday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 at West Music in Coralville.
Family/Friends are welcome at the final rehearsal of each session to hear the band.
Fall 2025
Rehearsals begin at 5:30 pm on Monday, September 8 at West Music,
and continue through early-December.
